The Oasis Bar in Letterkenny hosted their Grand reopening last night. This was a ticket only event and sold out a week in advance. Over 90 guests enjoyed bubbly on arrival as well as a complimentary cocktail served by Daniel Gardiner and the General Manager Aoife McNulty.
GM Aoife pulled out all the stops to ensure everyone had a great night. Guests also had a glass of the Oasis Bar own Craft beer, Galfee’s Biker Brew!
A three course dinner was then served to the ninety guests, a selection of starters including Pizza Bruschetta, garlic mushrooms, bbq chicken wings, salad an wheaten bread. For the mains you had the choice of herb roasted Darne of Salmon, served with baby potatoes, roasted cherry tomatoes, asparagus spears, dill and lemon butter, 8 oz Rib Eye Steak with all the trimmings, Marinated Moroccan Chicken Fillet, or vegan lasagne. The desserts platter was chocolate brownie, cheesecake, fresh strawberries, profiteroles and chocolate sauce.
Compliments to the chef for serving a beautiful dinner. I have to mention the staff, who were very attentive, professional and friendly, so well done girls.
To add to the fun on the night there was a photo booth set up for the guests to have a bit of fun. Eoghan Quigg entertained for the night.
After 11pm Jacqui and James Gallagher performed the official opening of their bar. A great night out and thanks Aoife for inviting me along to cover your successful night.
