Congratulations to Eamonn & Grace Harkin along with their family who reached an amazing milestone celebrating 50 years in practice at their Chiropodists at Lower Main St, Letterkenny earlier today.
The red carpet was rolled out to greet family, friends, neighbours, clients and many people called to their premises to extend their best wishes while enjoying a chat and a bit of craic with Eamonn and Grace. They enjoyed tea, cakes, sandwiches and refreshments served by the lovely Margo. The golden couple cut the beautiful cake made by Highland Bakery.
Eamonn and Grace were great form as always and loved greeting all the guests. Many bunches of flowers were delivered throughout the day which was very much appreciated by the Harkin family
Highland Radio broadcast live outside Harkin’s Chiropodists from 12 noon until 2.30, John Breslin interviewed the star of the show Eamonn on his show, which was listened to by many of the Harkin family relatives all over the world.
Eamonn will still do the odd pair of feet and I hope he doesn’t retire just yet, I have been going to him for many years now. He said he is very fortunate to have his daughters Jeanette and Kathryn along with his son in law Paddy who continue on the family tradition. The Harkin family would like to thanks everyone for all their wishes and for calling in today.
