McElhinney’s revealed their much anticipated Christmas windows this evening in front of thousands of people who gathered late this afternoon. They are back bigger and better this year with a festive bang for the first time in over three years.
The iconic window display returns with a brand-new theme – ‘Tis the Season’ – celebrating hidden treasures and sea life and plenty of glitter.
Just two weeks ago McElhinney’s launched their See Me book – a charity portrait book featuring members of the Down syndrome community in Donegal.
The fabulous young people featured in the book were there today, the excitement was unreal.
The crowds were entertained with live music and performances by street entertainers. The main man Santa was instore too and I spotted the Grinch outside!
The team at the award winning store are thrilled to be back in action after several years of scaled-back versions of its much-loved window displays and all the staff were there to welcome everyone back to Ballybofey to celebrate the beginning of the festive season in style.
This was a fun event for all the family, filled with McElhinney’s Magic. Well done Richie and team for another spectacular Christmas window display.
