Joe Carlin’s memory lives on.

The family of the late Joseph Carlin from Crossroads in Killygordon (who sadly passed away three months ago, aged 55) are raising money in aid of St Vincent De Paul in Killygordon in his memory by purchasing his print.

Jo, was an exceptionally talented, self-taught, abstract artist. Many of his works adorn homes and businesses across Donegal, Ireland and beyond. Jo, however will be best remembered as a great family and community man.

A gentle and kind person, he selflessly gave up his time for the local branch of St. Vincent De Paul as well as many other worthy causes. In recent years, he moved from his trade mark dark colours and scenes to more colourful vibrant works.

This, combined with his love of nature, can be see here in one of his final paintings. The family hope this limited edition print will brighten up your life and bring a smile to your face as Joe did to many. In memory of a great man and a much loved friend, all proceeds from the sale of this print will go directly to Crossroads/Killygordon SVDP.

The print can be purchased for just 20 euro from  Gerard McHugh, Photography, Ballybofey, Alexanders, Ballybofey, Andies Supermarket, Stranorlar, Supermarket Food fare Stranorlar, Bradleys Supermarket, The Cross, LYIT reception or any family member. The family would like to thank everyone for their support.
