Home Instead Senior Care Donegal are delighted to announce that one of their CAREGivers Liz Mc Menamin from Killygordon has been awarded ‘Home Instead Ulster CAREGiver of the year award 2020’. Well done Liz, very deserving of this great award.
As we all know this has been a most challenging year for all working on the front line.
Liz goes above and beyond in her work as a CAREGiver with Home Instead Donegal. Her empathy and caring for her clients is what makes her so special and relates to them as if they were a member of her own family.
CAREGivers and frontline workers step up every day to take care of their clients in the community, they adhere to the guidelines and limit their actions to keep everyone safe.
With their help and consultation and in celebration of Liz’s great award, Home Instead Senior Care Donegal wanted to do something to support all agencies in delivering the Covid19 message and help get that message out to the community, helping to lower the numbers in Donegal.
Today they launched a new initiative called #StepUpForDonegal , and are asking the community to celebrate safely and continue with government recommendations so that we can all enjoy a great Christmas.
They are calling on everyone in the county to share a video or message on their social media accounts and use the hash tag #stepupfordonegal #homeinstead.
Many of the CAREGivers have created their own video messages of Christmas cheer and call to action for you to take part in this coming together in supporting of community.
Even the smallest gesture of support can help the agencies who are tasked with getting the message out in our community, so please celebrate with Home Instead Donegal in applauding Liz’s award and by supporting all CAREGivers and frontline heroes by getting on board and stepping up for Donegal.
