It’s hard to believe that Saint Vincent De Paul on the Station Roundabout is open a year already and is going from strength to strength.
The celebrations started off today as customers called in and enjoyed some refreshments and sweeties and balloons for the children. Later on this evening from 7pm to 9pm some of the conference members were present as well as volunteers and staff enjoying a cuppa and having the chats.
Manager, Olga Hossack, expressed her gratitude to all the volunteers, staff, she said ‘We have the most amazing team here, I would like to thank everyone for all their kind donations from all over the County especially at this time of the year, when it is all needed to help people coming up to Christmas. Please keep the donations coming. We didn’t expect the shop to take off the way it has and long may it continue. Due to public demand the shop will open for the first three Sundays in December, 4th, 11th and 18th from 1pm to 5pm and hopefully this will be a huge help to people, she concluded.
Well done to all involved, wishing you many more years of great business.
