The Market House Restaurant in the Abbey Hotel, Donegal Town celebrated International Women’s Day in style with cocktails, Fashion, Fun and delicious food.
The event was sold out within one week after the success of last year’s International Women’s Day at the Market House Restaurant.
Over 140 ladies arrived in style to dine with friends, sisters and colleagues, looking forward to seeing Donegal Town’s latest Fashion trends and styles.
The Market House was decorated beautifully with fabulous Flowers by Kevin, not forgetting the Chanel touch of class added with Chanel Trees and flower displays, Kevin is a man of many talents.
Cocktails were flowing with the Restaurant’s New Cocktail & Gin Bar in full swing, Shane & Daniel kept the mixing going throughout the evening creating delicious cocktails for all the ladies.
Dinner was served by the wonderful team of staff – the sizzle of steak on the stone filled the air and then the Fashion Walk around commenced in a relaxed atmosphere, Annette Diver, Elaine Martin, Mary Crawford, Dorothy Wilson, Esther O’Donnell & Chloe Kennedy were the beautiful models.
Shops included in the show showcased their Spring / Summer Fashion were Get That Trend, Edge Clothing, Stella Boutique, Rosewoods, Kira from Magee of Donegal and Irish House.
The model’s hair and makeup were all by Rossanos and they all loved it and Jody was mentioned a few times, she is fabulous at make-up.
The fun continued with spot prizes thanks to Irish House, Begley’s Pharmacy, MHR & The Central Hotel for donating prizes. All the ladies received goody bags thanks to Eske Pharmacy and all the shops for discount vouchers.
It was a great way to celebrate International Women’s Day and I have no doubt these ladies will all be back soon to catch up over dinner in the Market House Restaurant. Thanks to Elaine McInaw for her hospitality as always.
