The Shandon Spa celebrated its 3rd birthday last night and I was there to capture all the staff and the General Manager herself Carolynne Harrison. The girls all looked so glamorous and deserved a night of celebrations.
It’s no surprise that the Shandon Spa has been voted third best spa in Ireland by Tatler magazine.
The spa team were treated to a well deserved five course gourmet meal in Marbles restaurant overlooking the bay.
In her short after dinner speech General Manager Carolynne Harrison thanked her spa team commending them for their dedication, commitment and expertise. She remarked how the Spa and Hotel staff have come together to create an amazing guest experience and that she feels very blessed to have such an amazing team.
On behalf of Warren McCarthy, his family and the senior management team Carolynne presented a beautiful bouquet of flowers to the Spa Manager Eibhlin Cannon.
Eibhlin took over as spa manager this time last year and Carolynne congratulated her for the fantastic results she has achieved with her team in relation to sales revenue and reviews. She also noted that there is an excellent morale and vibe at present and believes this is a huge factor in the success we have enjoyed.
Carolynne said that the resort is going from strength to strength since the launch of an additional 18 bedrooms and their new restaurant Marbles.
She also said that she is very excited about how their new hair salon has taken off and she cannot wait to arrange our next party which will be the official hair salon launch. And I can’t wait to get my hair done!!!
