    A night out with the Vintners at their annual Dinner Dance!

    The Donegal Publicans and friends hosted their annual VFI Dinner Dance last night in the Finn Suite at Jacksons Hotel Ballybofey with over 260 guests present. 

    The National President VFI Ireland Padraig McGrann was in attendance as were County Manager Seamus Neely, Pat the Cope Gallagher and Martin Harley. Many suppliers in the drinks and food industry also attended the event. 

    The chosen charities on the night was Cunamh and VFI Benevolent.

    Antoinette Coyle and her staff are a credit to the hotel serving up a delicious meal so promptly.

    Presentations were made to Martin Gibbon’s ex-Chairman of the Vintners for his contribution to the Donegal Vintners.  Martin’s wife Siobhan also received a presentation of beautiful flowers.  The second presentation was made to David Pearson for long service with Comans and his wife Alma was also was presented with flowers.  

    The committee presented Mary McGinley a cheque for €697.00 for the Cunamh Charity Shop in Stranorlar.

    The guests danced the night away to the fabulous David Craig Band followed by a disco. 

    Well done to the committee, Alice Lynch VFI Donegal Chairperson, Mairead O Connell Vice Chairperson, Martina Barrett secretary and Marie Harkin, Harkins Bar, Brockagh for a great night.
